Unto the New Mexico holiday season this all-time choral masterwork is given! Experience Handel’s signature oratorio in its entirety, with Baroque-sized forces and world-class Baroque soloists. The combination of texts from the Old and New Testaments explores the many aspects of Christ’s birth, life, death, and resurrection. Messiah is a truly transcendent musical moment enjoyed by audiences the world over for more than 250 years. Roger Melone conducts the chorus, orchestra, and nationally acclaimed soloists from his seat at the harpsichord.
